{pretty, happy, funny, real}

{Happy} is having a 10 year old daughter who is thrilled to change her baby brother's diapers!!

{Funny} are the cheesy poses of a 4-year old who capitalizes on every photo opportunity.
                                                   

{Real}  This is how you know your produce is truly organic!  I found this little guy in my lettuce the other day.

                                             

Hard to see him, but here he is crawling on the rim of the salad spinner...  I tried to get a better shot, but Victor, age 7, whisked him outside super-fast.

More {real} are my tomato plants.  The reality is that my sweet parents bought and planted them for me as a Mother's Day gift.  They also planted flowers and basil knowing I  wouldn't have time for such things this year, having a newborn and all...

This is a {funny} picture my husband took at the piano recital a couple weeks ago.  Lucy may be thinking something along the lines of, "Get me out of here!"  :)  Maybe I'm projecting because I always found piano recitals nerve-wracking when I was a kid...
