{Pretty, Happy} is everyone all dressed up for Christmas Eve Mass, the Christmas tree, and the Joy of the day.
{Funny} is the extra red around Felicity's lips, evidence of candy cane consumed on the way home from church. Every year, Father passes out treats at the end of mass, one per child or "5 for those want to become priests or nuns!"
{Real} Notice the USA flag in the pot on the cabinet in the background - a leftover from last summer! Also, I thought I had relatively matching green outfits for all the kids to wear... At the last minute, we realized Lucy had outgrown hers (expecting it to fit for 3 years in a row was a stretch...) and Leo's Christmas sweater, purchased before he was even born, fell victim to a ferocious spit up incident. Oh well! Merry Christmas, anyway!!!
