En Pointe

 

For a budding ballerina, graduating to pointe shoes is a huge milestone.  Yesterday was that day for Joy.  After sewing on the elastics and ribbons, she couldn't wait to take them for a spin, and, of course, have a photo shoot.

She's been struggling with Achilles tendinitis, so we're hoping and praying for a quick and permanent healing from this injury.  Ballet makes her happy.
