 This year, out of the clear, blue sky, Kid 118 announced he wanted to give ballet a try.  Our daughters' ballet school has a wonderful men's program director, and they were willing to let him begin halfway through the year...  Tonight is the End of Year Showcase performance.  Look at all those boys!!  They're dancing to 'Soul Man.'  The girls, of course, have lovely performances, too.

Here we are on a bird-watching hike last week at our local marshlands...  The bird and other wildlife sightings were amazing!

 

A tree swallow in flight!!  They're so fast, I can hardly believe I managed to capture this. 

 

The real part is the mud.  I forgot to factor that in...  It's not a big deal for kids in boots, but the wheelchair is another story.  I had to carry both the stroller and boy-in-wheelchair across a couple of particularly soggy parts.  Oh well. 

All for a good cause, though!!  We had a really nice day.
